We have been Nomaders since 1980. The first photo was taken in 1985, with our three year old son, Jim, and myself.
The rest of the photos are of our Adobe Beige and Sierra Gold 1957 Nomad. It was assembled in Oakland,
California. The drivetrain comes with a 327 c.i. engine and a 350 turbo transmission. The upholstery and paint are the original colors.
Recently, we had all the entire vehicle rewired, front drum brakes replaced with disc brakes, new starter, dual horns, etc.
The Nomad continues to be an ongoing restoration project, but the job is 95% complete. Most people love the color combination as much as we do. I named the Nomad “Precious,” but my husband prefers “So Fine.”
