My name is Jason Mauro. I am from Youngstown Ohio and this is my 1955 Chevrolet Nomad. My dad purchased the car in 1972 and literally has been working on it ever since! We really dug into it within the past 5 years and we did all the work ourselves. I am waiting on a few pieces to be re-chromed and then we will be cruising! It has a 265 bored .30 over with a solid lifter cam coupled to the original 2 speed Cast Iron power glide. I enjoy reading the Nomad Post each month and look forward to the next issue.
