At approximately 1:33 pm this afternoon (07/14/20) the Hall County Sheriff’s Department was detailed to a single vehicle injury accident that occurred on the west bound off ramp of I-80 at the mile marker 314. Janice Duncan was driving a grey 2005 Buick Century 4 door car west bound exiting off of I-80 on the off ramp. Janice left the roadway to the north and drove through two fences and impacted a tree. Janice was transported from the scene by the Grand Island Ambulance to CHI St Francis Hospital.

Condolences for Gary and the Black family:
I’m sure Gary Black has plenty to do with his daughter’s passing Monday morning. Funeral is tomorrow. Debbie has been to several Nomad conventions, I think the first one was San Antonio in 2007. We will miss her. Gary’s member# is 1303, according to my 2018-19 member directory. Details:
Today we lost a dear friend, mother, daughter, and sister – Debbie Black.
Please send prayers for her soul’s ascension into the Kingdom of immortality, His exalted rose garden – the world of mysteries. Also include prayers for Debbie’s family and friends as they are now transitioning into only having a spiritual relationship with the loss of their dear loved one.
OThou Kind Lord! This dearly cherished maidservant was attracted to Thee, and through reflection and discernment longed to attain Thy presence and enter Thy realms. With tearful eyes she fixed her gaze on the Kingdom of Mysteries. Many a night she spent in deep communion with Thee, and many a day she lived in intimate remembrance of Thee. At every morn she was mindful of Thee, and at every eve she centered her thoughts upon Thee. Like unto a singing nightingale she chanted Thy sacred verses, and like unto a mirror she sought to reflect Thy light.
O Thou Forgiver of sins! Open Thou the way for this awakened soul to enter Thy Kingdom, and enable this bird, trained by Thy hand, to soar in the eternal rose garden. She is afire with longing to draw nigh unto Thee; enable her to attain Thy presence. She is distraught and distressed in separation from Thee; cause her to be admitted into Thy Heavenly Mansion.
O Lord! We are sinners, but Thou art the Forgiver. We are submerged in the ocean of shortcomings, but Thou art the Pardoner, the Kind. Forgive our sins and bless us with Thine abundant grace. Grant us the privilege of beholding Thy Countenance, and give us the chalice of joy and bliss. We are captives of our own transgressions, and Thou art the King of bountiful favors. We are drowned in a sea of iniquities, and Thou art the Lord of infinite mercy. Thou art the Giver, the Glorious, the Eternal, the Bounteous; and Thou art the All-Gracious, the All-Merciful, the Omnipotent, He Who is the Bestower of gifts and the Forgiver of sins. Verily, Thou art He to Whom we turn for the remission of our failings, He Who is the Lord of lords.

“Bob Andersen”
Submitted by Bill and Helen Macoubrie
This last Friday (March 20th, 2020) Bob fell at dialysis. He hurt his shoulder, elbow, ribs and hip. bruised up pretty good but he broke his hip. They did surgery this morning, put 2 screws in his hip. They had him walk to a chair in his room and he’s sitting for a while. He still has his humor and doing good but has some pain. I haven’t been able to be at the hospital with him, because of the virus. We been talking by the phone, makes it pretty hard not being able to be there for him. Just want you all to know about him.
We wish Bob a speedy recovery.
Please keep Bob and Julie in your prayers

Posted on Facebook by his family: I am sure some people have heard by now, but we wanted to let everyone know that our dad, Bob Miller, passed away peacefully in his sleep late Tuesday evening. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He will be missed so much by all of us. We will be setting up a get together to celebrate his life in the next couple of months once Marlene is back up on her feet.
Bob Miller, member number 24, passed away on Tuesday, February 25, in his sleep. Marlene fell on December 22 and broke her hip. For a while, she was in the same retirement home as Bob. Marlene is now back in her home.
Marlene is still recovering from her hip surgery, so no date for a memorial service for Bob has been set.
I know Marlene will appreciate cards. A valid phone number for Marlene is 513-919-9038.
Please cross off the other phone number (503-622-6813) listed in the Chevrolet Nomad Association directory.

Jim and Alanna Crouch spoke to Marlene. She seems to be doing fine. Marlene has such a kind heart with a personality to match.
I just received word from Greg that Monty Hollertz has passed away. His family owned Chevyland off the interstate at Elm Creek. For you long time members this brings back memories of several trips to Chevyland. We camped out and played car games and watched movies at night with the building for a screen. Many years ago his wife and her sister were killed by his wife’s brother in law at Chevyland. After that it was mostly closed but you could still see cars in the windows from the interstate. Monty’s funeral will be Tuesday at the Methodist Church in Holdrige NE.

Paul and Sally Miller
Today with a very heavyheart we are using social media to notify our many friends of a very horrific motorcycle accident that happened on Easter Sunday involving our eldest son Pauly. We are still asking for prayers of healing for Pauly, his friends and family. Pauly is going to be leaving us physically but will be living through others as he has wished to donate all possible organs. Pauly will forever live on through the memories we have of him. We must continue on to have prayers over the next few days as tests are run and recipients are found for his organs. Today a ceremony will be held at 4PM to acknowledge his donations and giving life to others at Condell Hospital in Libertyville IL. Please, please, please continue to pray. Updated (04/25/19)
It was reported that Paul and Sally Miller’s son (Paul) was in a Motorcycle accident and is in critical condition. Their family could use our prayers. Posted (04/23/19)
